Woohoo the SW'lies are back! I left BH w/e family duties slightly earlier than planned to make sure I was home in time for a Shoreham evening session. Today was all about trying out the 3-finned Witchcraft as part of my quest to find the perfect waveboard to replace my Quatro. I met up with Bill who had had it on demo previously and after a few warm up runs on the Quatro I nabbed it off him. Hmmm very different...took quite a long time to get used to, but after I'd worked out how to gybe it properly I found out that it carved round and stayed on the plane beautifully, and then on the wave...wowser wowser!!! On the couple of top turns that I timed well the speed that the board picked up was incredible - like someone giving you a kick up the arse off the wave! Much more exciting than any other wave-riding board I've tried, and left me thinking how good must this board be in proper dtl???

So food for thought wrt which waveboard to buy (maybe this one???). All in all a quality session on the new board well powered for most of it by the 5.2 in some half-decent waves (by usual Shoreham standards).
